They encounter sharks, human destruction, pot holes in sand, and fishing nets. Only 1 in 1,000 sea turtles make it. Additionally, I learned that sea turtles lay eggs on the sand, and they make their way to the ocean. I also learned that natural factors, such as ocean waves carrying a sea turtle away from the sand and the moonlight attracting the turtles to stay in the ocean.  Are you able to relate what you ...

Blog Post Week 3 What did I learn this week?   This week, I learned that there are two cycles in the metamorphosis cycle. Metamorphosis happens during the life cycle. An incomplete metamorphic cycle has three stages; an egg, a nymph, and an adult. A complete cycle occurs through four stages; egg, larva, pupa, and adult. We created a complete life cycle in class, and my group chose a frog. A frog's metamorphic life cycle is complete because it contains four stages.  Are you able to relate what you learned to what you already know?  In previous years, I knew that scientists genetically modify plants to grow bigger and faster to help sustain the world. What I learned this week is that scientists...
