Week 8: Geology that kids see
- What did you do in the lab today? We observed rocks from around the world under a microscope. Then, we went to the Macbride Museum and looked at Iowa from the beginning of time.
- What was the big question? Explain changes in landscapes overtime
- What did you learn in Thursday’s discussion? I learned that we have glacier rocks all over Iowa, yet Iowa paid to have a glacier rock imported from England.

- What did you learn? Due to the movement of earths plates, the layers may be skewed or tilted
- What was most helpful? Having each section divided up by definitions and not all combined together
